Elliott Moncayo Córdova

Founding Partner – Director of the Litigation Department
A lawyer graduated from the Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo (UEES), with specialized training in Corporate Law and a Master's degree in Procedural Law from the same university. He holds several diplomas in procedural law and more than a decade of professional experience, both in independent practice and in high-level positions within the financial system and regulatory agencies. He has served as Legal Advisor to the Chamber of Agriculture, as a lawyer for financial institutions, and, most recently, as Regional Director of Legal Procedures for the Superintendency of Banks. His practice ranges from the legal structuring of real estate projects to comprehensive advice for companies, associations, and startups. He is a founding partner of Moncayo & Almeida Abogados®, where he leads the corporate advisory and strategic litigation practice, with a technical, efficient approach oriented toward the practical resolution of legal conflicts.

Andrea Almeida Quezada

Managing Partner – Founder
A lawyer graduated from the Universidad de Especialidades Espírito Santo (UEES), she has a solid background in Corporate Law and a Master's degree in International Trade Law. She holds a Diploma in Legal Argumentation from the University of Genoa, Italy, and is accredited as a mediator by the UEES Arbitration and Mediation Center (CAMUEES). She has over a decade of professional experience in the financial, banking, and business fields. She has served as a Customer Advocate at the Superintendency of Banks and has held relevant positions in public and private financial institutions. She currently serves as an ex officio liquidator appointed by the Superintendency of Companies, participating in high-impact corporate proceedings. She specializes in civil litigation, portfolio recovery, bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, and strategic legal advice. She excels at a technical, ethical, and preventive approach to law, focused on resolving conflicts with intelligence, strategy, and a strong human spirit.

Nerea Pico Sáenz de Viteri

Associate Attorney – Intellectual Property Expert
A lawyer who graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo (UEES), she has significant experience in the field of trademark and intellectual property law. She has worked as a legal consultant and associate attorney at renowned law firms, as well as as a member of the litigation department of one of the country's largest financial institutions. She is the founder and CEO of Marcarius Legal, a firm specializing in trademark protection. She is currently part of the Moncayo & Almeida Abogados® team, where she leads the intellectual property practice, providing technical and strategic advice aimed at the effective protection of our clients' intangible assets.
